Matthew Kirby-Smith
As a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson, Matthew Kirby-Smith strongly believes that developing mutual trust and a strong connection with his clients is the foundation for productive and successful relationships.
His philosophy is based upon asking the right questions first, then listening to clearly understand his client’s goals, whether it’s buying or selling a home or finding a commercial space to locate a business.
Born in Park Slope, Brooklyn during the infamous "Summer of Sam", when David Berkowitz, a serial killer was on the loose and NYC was enduring a long blackout with sweltering summer temps, my love for Sports was born soon thereafter. My first love was baseball and I started playing tee ball at around 7 and the Mets became my team, as I started to follow them in 1984. UNC basketball has always been in my blood, as my Mom's side of the family is from North Carolina and my uncle attended UNC Chapel Hill. Michael Jordan is, of course, the most famous Carolina player you can think of and was also born in Brooklyn! The NY Giants are my football team and have always loved the Knicks from Day One. The days of Patrick Ewing, Charles Oakley and John Starks will always be close to my heart!
